Bathurst - Florence “Flo” Godin, of Bathurst passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, (November 28, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Mary Febé (Legacy) Leet.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Hector Godin to whom she was married to for 52 years.
She is survived by:

Frank Godin (Debbie), both of Big River
Melvin Godin (Therese) of Marathon, ON

Freeman Leet (Jeannine) of Big River
One sister:
Joan of Beresford
She leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She worked for many years at Stedman’s as cook and Danny’s for a period of time. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, was an avid dart player, enjoyed camping, cooking, knitting, quilting and also enjoyed a good game of cards.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday (December 2, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., with Father Gregory Culligan officiating. Burial will be in the S.H.
