Beresford - Jean Marie Doucet, 86, of Beresford, died Sunday (February 22, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Georges and Louise (Haché) Doucet. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife, the former Dolores 'Laura' Cormier. 1 Son: Jacques Doucet (Ginette) of Beresford 1 Daughter: Suzanne Noel (Guy) of Beresford 4 Grandchildren, Patrick, Alexandre, Stéphanie and Mylène. 3 Step-sons: Patrice Doucet of Robertville Georges Doucet (Aurèlie) of Beresford Alphée Doucet (Renée) of Vancouver, BC 5 Step-daughters: Marthe Bourdages, Thérèse Boudreau (Ernest), both of Robertville Rose Pedneault of Montreal, Que. Louisa Legacy (Robert) of Bathurst and Nicole Bois of Beresford Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (February 27, 2004) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nom de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
