Bathurst - Ronald "Rodd" Dunn, 61, of Rogers St., Bathurst, passed away suddenly on Monday (January 26, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Tracadie, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (MacKenzie) Dunn. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Elizabeth (McCoombs) Dunn in 2003. He is survived by 2 sons: Jeff (Tammy) and Aaron (Laura) both of Bathurst; 1 daughter: Tara Dunn (Jean Yves) of Bathurst; 9 grandchildren: Billy, Sierra, Jennica, Ryan, Holly, Corey, Melissa, Jade and Ricky. 1 great-grandchild, Tenisha; 1 brother: Kenneth of Ontario; 2 sisters: Judy Croy (Cal) of Manitoba; Donna Dunn of Bathurst; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael in 2003 and a sister, Ellen in 2005. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A Funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11 am from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Rodd may be made to the Salvation Army.
