Bathurst - Frederick Hachey, 86, of Reese Lane, Bathurst, died Wednesday (March 3, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late William and Genevieve (Hachey) Hachey. He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club. He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Martina Lanteigne in 1992. He is survived by: 4 Sons: Kenneth Hachey Steven Hachey Gerald Hachey Roger Hachey 2 Daughters: Dianne Ginette 1 Brother: Emile Hachey 3 Sisters: Adeline Hachey Jeannette Lavigne Yvonne Landry Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Edmond, Benjamin; and a sister, Nelda. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (March 12, 2004) at 1:30 p.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, King Ave., in the spring.
