THIBODEAU, Gerard, 65, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Arthur and Clothilda (Doucet) Thibodeau. He worked as a farmer most of his life. Gerard is survived by: His spouse, Connie Jones; 4 step-children: Eric Jones (Linda Gauthier); Keith Jones (Lesley Boucher) both of Bathurst; Kim Jones (Francois Lavigne) of Robertville; Adrienne Pelletier (Christian Chiasson) of Bathurst; 4 brothers: Gordon Thibodeau; Randy Thibodeau (Christine Guitard), both of Bathurst; Frank Russell (Antoinette) of Tracadie-Sheila; Donald Thibodeau of Clifton; 4 sisters: Annette Lavigne (Burnel); Dorine Thibodeau, both of Bathurst; Shirley Frenette (Jean-Marc) of Beresford; Violette Sparks (Jim) of St. John’s, NFLD; 5 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; He was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys and Gertrude and a brother, Bernard. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 4 PM from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
