Bathurst - Sheldon David, 38, of Big River, passed away accidentally in Moncton on Thursday (May 28, 2009). Born in Bathurst, he was the son of John David (Iris Sheppard) and Elizabeth (David) Murphy (Patrick). Sheldon graduated from B.H.S. in 1989. For a time he worked at a Honda Dealership in Ottawa. Most recently he returned home to take his Electrical Apprenticeship with his step-father. Besides his father and mother of Bathurst, he is survived by: Two daughters: Stephanie Aubie of Bathurst Karine Daigle of Montreal, QC Four brothers: Michael David (Debbie) of Tennessee, USA Allen Pitre of Bathurst David Sheppard (Katja) of Williams Lake, BC Doug Sheppard of Peace River, AB One sister: Darla Buraglia (Marc) of Bathurst Paternal grandmother: Eva David of Bathurst Maternal grandmother: Loretta Smyth of South Tetagouche Step-brother: Sean Murphy of Bathurst Two step-sisters: Debbie Miller (John) of Chatham, ON Patricia Ellis (Randy) of Lloydminster, AB Several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends The body will rest on Sunday evening only from 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (June 1, 2009) at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Sheldon may be made to the I.W.K.
