Big River - Wilbert Legacy Sr., 78, of Big River, passed away on Friday (June 12, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late George and Imelda (Godin) Legacy. He is survived by: Two sons: Wilbert Jr. Legacy (Carol) of Big River Alcide Legacy of Bathurst Two daughters: Delia Couture of Middle River Donna Theriault (Gary) of Big River Two brothers: Eldon (Louisa) of Big River Johnny of Fredericton Four sisters: Irene Vienneau (Gerard), Pat Hebert and Evangeline Chamberlain, all of Big River Margaret Duguay of Bathurst 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister; Marie. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (June 16, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
