On August 22, Christine Arsenault, of Gosnell Street in Bathurst, passed away peacefully in Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 46, lovingly surrounded by her large group of family and friends.
Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of Ned Arsenault and the late Merina (Arseneau) Arsenault.
Chris courageously fought her battle with cancer showing enormous dignity, strength and acceptance. Never did she complain and always had the most radiant smile
Chris worked for over 25 years as an Emergency Nurse at the Chaleur Regional Hospital and was a integral part of a close knit ER staff who were all there for her in her time of need.
She leaves behind her two greatest joys of her life, her loving children; son Andrew Carroll and daughter Allison Carroll, both at home; and her devoted little companion "Fudge".
Besides her father Ned (Arnie), she is survived by brothers and sisters Debbie of Halifax, NS,Kevin (Susanne) of Calgary AB, Carol Ann (Allan) of Bathurst, David of Truro, NS, Jeff (Shari) of McKees Mills and a niece Jayna (Kevin and Sue) and nephew Joel (Carol Ann and Allan).

There are so many people's lives she touched! Her "Poker Pals, the Canoe Girls", her ER friends, and her special extended family that was always increasing! Her best friend Paula Doucet Jones was always there for her and the family. Chris’ personality and smile attracted wonderful friends and we thank all of you for being so good to her.
