Bathurst - Mrs. Edith Carey, 72, wife of Donald Carey, Nepisiguit Falls, NB, passed away on Friday (September 18, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Silikers, NB, and brought up in Bathurst by the late Huntly and Edna Ferguson and biological daughter of the late Howard and Hattie Harris. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Three sons: Stephen (Darlene) of Nepisiguit Falls, NB David of Bathurst James (Sophie) of Big River Two daughters: Heather Boucher (Dale) of Gloucester Junction, NB Martha Mazerolle (J.C. Bernard) of Rough Waters, NB Eight grandchildren; Shauna, Kristopher, Melanie, Tiffany, Michel, Emily, Sarah and Bradly. Three step-grandchildren; Amy, Jennifer and Sarah. One great-step-grandchild; Savannah. One brother: David Ferguson of Baker Lake, NB One sister: Linda Ferguson (Jim Cormier) of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Sally, Jenny, brothers; Willis, Keith, Elliott and Allan. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (September 22, 2009) at 2 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.
