Dunlop - Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” White, 85, wife of the late John White, formerly of Dunlop, passed away on Monday (September 28, 2009) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Newcastle, England, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Moan) Pleasant.
She served in World War II with the British Army.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, John in 1973.
She is survived by:
Three sons:
John Jr. (Carole) of South Tetagouche
Ronnie (Nadine) of Dunlop
Allan (Joanne) of Robertville
Three daughters:
Margaret Morais (Raymond) of Dunlop
Noella Poirier (Paul) of Bathurst
Susan Roy (Gervais) of South Tetagouche
One sister:
Ann Young of England
Grandchildren; Jerry, Nancy, Brian, Paul Jr., Peggy, Julie, Valerie, Robby, David, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also pre-deceased by a infant daughter; Florence, a brother; John "Jack" and a sister; June Jackson (Allan); a great grandson Nicholas St Coeur.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A private Family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
