Justin Shawn Lowe - It is with great sadness that we announce Justin’s passing on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville with his parents by his side. Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, he was a son of Murray and Donna (McLean) Lowe. He lived in Calgary, Alberta for 15 years and most recently has been living in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, Nova Scotia. Justin passed away at 24 years of age. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Max McLean and an aunt, Brenda McLean, both of Bathurst; his grandparents Murray and Ruby Lowe of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Justin endured many challenges in his short life and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepbrother, Murray Lowe, Pickering, Ontario; stepsister, Donna (Lowe) Colwell, Halifax, Nova Scotia; stepsister, Angela Lowe, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and a half-sister, Colleen Knowles, Miramichi, New Brunswick; maternal grandmother, Florence (McLean) Jennings, Bathurst; aunts, Norma McLean (David), Bathurst;  Karen (McLean) Turner, Edmonton, Alberta, and many other relatives and special friends. Justin’s family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Graduated Supports in Calgary and Evergreen Home for Special Care for the endless support and care they gave to Justin. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville and there will be no visitation by request.  In celebration of Justin’s life, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at Elhatton`s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst, with Rev. Blair Lewis officiating. Donations in memory may be made to Evergreen Home for Special Care as well as the Rotary Club.
