Bathurst- Blair Caissie, 56, of Bathurst, passed away on Monday (March 19, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Sarah "Sadie" (Hachey) Caissie of Bathurst and the late Alexander Caissie.

He worked as a transport driver for many years in Ontario and was the comedian of the family.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Diane (Haché) Caissie.  Two sons:  Trevor and Matthew both of Bathurst.  Six sisters:  Louise Roy (Edgar) of Green Point; Mary Lambert (Wayne) of Simcoe, ON; Jean Hopkins (Clifford) of Kitchener, ON; Geraldine Boudreau (Conrad); Eva Mae Caissie; Sharon Couture (Louis), all of Bathurst.  Four brothers:  Reginald Caissie (Nicole) of Bathurst; Mitch Caissie (Patsy) of Sussex, NB; Paul Caissie of Ontario; Walter Caissie of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother;  Franklin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday (March 21, 2012) from 7-9 p.m. only at Elhatton's Funeral Home, 187 St. George St., Bathurst.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on 2 p.m. Thursday(March 22, 2012) from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St.  For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, donations to the family would be appreciated.  www.elhatton.com
