Bathurst – Mrs. Vera Jagoe, wife of the late Hazen Jagoe, formerly of Stonehaven and Canobie, passed away on Monday (April 30, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Laura Mae (Dealy) Ramsay.
She was a member of the Central United Church, Clifton, United Church Women, New Brunswick Women’s Institute, Orange Lodge, Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Chaleur Evening Stars.
She is survived by two sons: Ronald (Peggy) of Stonehaven, Robert of Bathurst;
sister-in-law, Joan Ramsay of Black River;
grandchildren: John, Christopher, Charles, Irma and Marcie;
five great-grandchildren: Jordan, Jared, Brandon, Madison and Connor. Several nieces and nephew.
She was pre-deceased by sons: Lyndell, Royce; daughter, Irma; one infant sister, Sadie; six brothers: Rudolph, Merven, Colin, Eldon, Keith, Ivan and a sister, Ruth Daley.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday (May 3, 2012) at 3 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Donations in memory of Vera may be made to the Central United Church, Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes or a favorite charity. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
