Boyd Bavis Hudson, 75, of Union Street in Bathurst died Sunday (25 July, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. Born in Tobique Narrows, NB, he was the son of the late George and Elsie (Bavis) Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a member of the First United Church, former member of the Gowan Brea Golf and Country Club in Bathurst. He was also a graduate of UNB in Geology and worked in Turkey, Greece, Australia, Venezuela, United States and Canada. His sister, Joan Hudson of Moncton, NB, and also, 3 aunts and several cousins survive him. There will be no visitations at the funeral. However, the family will receive friends and relatives at the First United Church, St. Patrick St., in Bathurst prior to and after the funeral service, which will be held Wednesday (28 July, 2004) at 3 p.m. with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Interment will be in the Highland View cemetery Bridge Street in Bathurst. Donations to the First United Church or a favorite charity would be greatly appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home of Bathurst, NB.
