Bathurst - Basil Densmore Black, 65, of St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, died Tuesday (July 10, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Jarvis Boyd and Mary Anne (Sargent) Black.
He worked for W. J. Kent & Co., Propane and Propane repair and later with Atlantic Rentals.
Besides his wife, the former Marie Brideau, he is survived by:

The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service was held on Thursday afternoon (August 12, 2004) at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.
