Bathurst - Edmond "Minie" Robichaud, 75, of College St., Bathurst, passed away suddenly on Thursday (March 21, 2013) at his residence.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Edouard and Marie Pauline (Hebert) Robichaud.
He worked for Loundsbury’s Furniture until his retirement and later drove for Roger’s Electric. His passion was attending Antique Car Shows and driving his vintage El Camino and going for early morning coffee with his friends at Tim’s.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Phyllis (Doucet) Robichaud and his children.
Two sons: Paul of Edmonton, Alta. and Carl of Whitecourt, Alta.
Four grandchildren: Jake, Cody, Mitchell and Troy; one great-granddaughter, Avery Marie.
One brother, Eldon Robichaud (Lucille) of Dieppe.
Two sisters: Gladys Carrier (Vern) of Bathurst and Angelie Breau (Gilles) of Moncton.
Several nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law.
He was pre-deceased by a brother; Eloi.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.
A Memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday (March 27, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Edmond may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
