1919 - 2013

Bathurst - Mrs. Mary Patricia Anne "Anna" Wesenberg, 94, wife of the late Henrik Wesenberg of Bathurst, passed away peacefully with her daughter Halldis at her side on Wednesday (April 3, 2013) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Beatrice (Moran) Hennessy.

She is survived by four sons: Robert "Bobby" (Carolyn) of Riverview, N.B., Fredrik (Jeannine) of Beresford, N.B., Henrik (Diane) of British Columbia and Thomas (Carole) of Bathurst.

One daughter, Halldis (Del) of Bay du Vin, N.B.

Four grandchildren: Tara Wesenberg of Bathurst, Amy Anderson of Fredericton, Clay Wesenberg of London, England and Celine Wesenberg of Bathurst. 

One great-granddaughter, Aniston Anderson.

One brother, Dr. Robert Douglas Hennessy (Therese) of Bathurst. 

One sister, Lucy Catherine Jarratt (late Sydney) of Bathurst.  Many nieces and nephews in Bathurst and other parts of Canada and U.S.A.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Harald and also three brother: Roger, Bruno and James Hennessy.

She was a past president of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, and Club 200 Seniors.  She was an avid knitter and loved to play scrabble.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (April 6, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
