1920 - 2013

Bathurst - Parker Cummings, 92, of Chalmers Court, Bathurst, passed away on Friday (April 5, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was the son of the late Robert and Ethel Marion (Parker) Cummings.

He was a mechanic for most of his life and enjoyed travelling and loved his family and Prince Edward Island.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Alice (Good) Cummings.

He is survived by his companion, Myrtle Good. 

One son, Dean Cummings (Jane) of Ottawa, Ont. 

Two grandchildren: Rhonda and Tina, two great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

One daughter-in-law, Joan Cummings. 

One sister, Hilda ''Gail'' Robinson of Ottawa, Ont.

One sister-in-law, Loretta Smyth (Sanford). 

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Wayne.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday (April 10, 2013) at 2 p.m. from First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9. 

Donations in memory of Parker may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
