North Tetagouche, NB - Mrs. Pamela St. Pierre, 62, wife of Patrick St. Pierre, of North Tetagouche, passed away on Monday (August 12, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a courageous fight for life.
Born in Cornwall, Ont., she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Muriel (Hartle) Cameron.
Pamela was an avid painter and member of the Bathurst Arts Society, Saint George's Anglican Church and a strong advocate of Organ donations having received a kidney transplant 39 years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amber St. Pierre (Chris Ainsworth) and his daughters: Kendra and Ryleigh, all of Halifax, N.S.
One sister, Gail McElroy of Cornwall, Ont.
Sisters-in-law: Mary Lou Audet (Raymond) of Charlo, N.B. and Pauline Guitard (Camille) of Belledune, N.B.
Brother-in-law, Ernie St. Pierre (Darlene) of North Bay, Ont.
Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by an infant brother, Colin.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday morning (August 14, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave, Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Donations in memory of Pamela may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Bathurst SPCA or a favorite charity.
