1939-2013

 Salmon Beach – Ralph Scott, 74, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Thursday (September 5, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Salmon Beach, he was the son of the late Donald and Gertrude (Good) Scott.

He worked as a Machinist for most of his life.

He is survived by his step-mother, Mae Scott of Salmon Beach, special friend, Vonda Hegler of Orlando, Florida.

Two sons: Dale (Lisa) Scott of Amherstburg, Ont., David (Kathy) Scott of Monroe, Michigan. 

One daughter, Darla (Wayne) Hutchins, Amherstburg, Ont.

Seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

One brother, George Scott (Regina) of Big River. 

Three sisters:  Dorothy Knowles (Ronald) of Salmon Beach, Betty Lou Street (William) of Bathurst, Mary Ellen Clouston (Percy) of Sussex.

Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest at the Elhatton Funeral Home(www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday (September 8, 2013) afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, (www.elhatton.com) St. George St., Bathurst.  

Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
