1943 - 2013

Beresford - Mrs. Viola Boone, 70, wife of Melvin Boone, of Beresford, passed away on Monday (September 16, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Little Bay Islands, NF, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Winifred (Hull) Robinson.

She was a member of First United Church and the United Church Woman, Bathurst.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Stephen of Dunlop.

One daughter, Tracy Palocz (John) of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

One brother, Ted Robinson (Carolyn) of Springdale, NF.

Three sisters: Marie Jones (Jim) of Corner Brook, NF, Barbara Philpott (Nick) of Lower Sackville, NS, Dianne Warr (Dennis) of Fort MacMurray, AB.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Mamie, Marjorie; two step-sisters: Rosalie and Dot.

The body will rest at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst,  on Wednesday September 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday (September 19, 2013) at 1 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.    

Donations in memory of Viola may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
