Bathurst - Mrs. Marie Richard, 76, wife of Antony Richard, of St. Peter Ave, Bathurst, passed away Thursday (October 3, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Nora (Boudreau) Bernier.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children: Theresa Newton (Kevin) of Witby, ON, Gerard Legere of Mississauga, ON and Paul Legere (Renée Santos) of Saint-Catherines, ON; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Theresa Babin of Bathurst; one brother, Philippe Bernier (Alice) of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by brothers: Joseph, Gerard, Edouard and a sister, Evangeline Young.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday morning (October 7, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St.
