1925 - 2014

Bathurst - Mrs. Yvette Christie, 88, wife of Alban Christie, of Union St. and formerly of Basin St, Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (June 22, 2014) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Angelina (Doucet) Boucher.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Claudette Duguay (Wesley) of Bathurst.

One grandson, Brandon.

Two brothers: Clifford Boucher of Campbellton and

Ralph Doucet (Aline) of Bathurst.

One sister, Leona Bourque (Adrien) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by brothers and sisters: Gladys, Douglas, Odis, Mathilda, Omer, Lionel, Arthur, Evangeline, Delphis, Aurel, Ralph and Roger.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday (June 26, 2014) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Yvette may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
