1932 – 2014

Big River - Pearl Catherine Branch - 82, of Big River, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Bateman) Black.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley.

One daughter, Cathy (André) Frenette of Big River.

Three sons: Kevin (Pat) of Nepisiguit Falls, Jonathan of Oxford, England, and Hugh of Toronto.

Four grandchildren: Jansen, Dane, Aaron and Johna Lee.

Two great-grandchildren: Jacob and Jordyn.

One brother, Donald Black (Yolande) of Bathurst.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers: James, Cecil and Lloyd and four sisters: Martha Carey, Beatrice Branch, Myrtle Smith and Doris Blanchard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday morning from 9 am until time of funeral at Elhatton Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, July 11, 2014 at 11 am from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
