1930 - 2014

Bathurst - Arthur Devereaux, 84, formerly of College Street, Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2014, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Melvina (Chamberlain) Devereaux.

He was a retired woodworker.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Rita (Caissie) Devereaux in 2012.

He is survived by three sons:  Maurice Devereaux (Susan) of Bathurst, Yvon Roy (Nadine) of Pte. à Bouleau, N.B. and Joey Roy of Bathurst.

Three daughters:  Laurie Anne Devereaux (Troy Bradstreet) of Woodstock, Mélodia Brideau (Zoël) of St. Pons, N.B. and Cindy Melanson (Rick) of Memeramcook.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Thursday December 11, 2014 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday December 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
