Bathurst- Mrs. Irene Young Boucher, wife of the late Vincent Boucher of Rough Waters died Thursday 25th November 2004 at her residence at the age of 99. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Peter Young and the late Margaret (Fournier) Young. Her husband Vincent Boucher died in 1968. She is survived by: 3 sons, David (Violet) Boucher, Ron Boucher, both of Bathurst, NB and Maurice Boucher of Moncton, NB; 2 daughters, Grace (Claude Vienneau) of Bathurst, NB and Janet Boucher of Halifax, NS; 1 sister,Ella Young Morton of Quebec. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Vincent Boucher, a son Martin predeceased her. The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St.George Street in Bathurst Sunday 28th November 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 29th November 2004 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church; Rough Waters Drive in Bathurst at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Mary's cemetery in Bathurst.
