1952 - 2015

Bathurst - Doran Pitre, 62, of Vanier Blvd., Bathurst, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Ernest and Meldona (Couture) Pitre.

He was predeceased by his wife, Judy (Richard) Pitre.

He is survived by one daughter, Krystle Pitre (Patrick Guignard) of Bathurst.

One granddaughter, Layla Jade Duguay.

Three sisters: Mildred Pitre of Bathurst, Corinne Prince (Brian) of Edmonton, Alta. and Rosa Marie Pitre (John Doucet) of Middle River.

Two brothers: Alfred Pitre (Mary Anne) of Oshawa, Ont. and Léo Pitre (Patsy) of Ontario.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Doran may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
