Mrs. Alma Lavigne died at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the age of 89. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ludger Chiasson and the late Louise Mallais.

She was predeceased by her husband late Leonard Lavigne in 1983.

She was a member of Holy Family C.W.L., the Herman J. Good Ladies Auxiliaries and Ladies Auxiliary Chaleur Regional Hospital.

She is survived by three sons:  Leornard Jr. (Carmeline), John (Rosaline Doucet), Michael all of Bathurst.

One daughter, Linda Noël (Jean) of Vancouver.

Twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Bill Murphy; one brother, Louis Chiasson and one sister, Janet Lamoureux.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www. elhatton.com) Bathurst on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral will be celebrated Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.

Donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or a favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
