Alfreda Lavigne, 88, of East Bathurst, passed away on January 13, 2015, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, wife of the late Fidele Lavigne.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Martha (Simoneau) White.

She is survived by two sons:  Fidel Lavigne Jr. (Eleanor) and Mike Lavigne (Lindsay) both of Bathurst.

Six grandchildren:  Lisa (Arthur), Jason, Diane, Ethan, Tristan and Victoria.

Three great-grandchildren:  Amber Lynn Lavigne, Alyssa and Cody Chamberlain all of Bathurst.

One sister, Mildred Chiasson of Bathurst.

Three Brothers:  Donald White of Nigadoo, Reginald (Muriel) White and Kenneth White both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Andrew.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday January 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church.

In memory of Alfreda, a donation may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
