1950 – 2015

Bathurst – Bernal John Lavigne, 64, formerly of Coffyn Cres., Bathurst, passed away Wednesday January 20, 2015 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Frederick "Freddie" and Agnes (Juliano) Lavigne.

Besides his wife, Annette (Thibodeau) Lavigne, he is survived by two sons:  Mark (Sherry) of North Tetagouche and John (Tanya) of Rough Waters.

Three grandchildren:  Hunter, Abeni-Rae and Keagan.

Two twin brothers: Blair (Rachel) of Moncton and Brian (Robin Johnson) of Indiana, U.S.A.

Five sisters:  Judy Lanteigne (Gilles) of Allardville, Carmeline Lavigne (Leonard) and Brenda Melanson (Randy) both of Bathurst, Anne Marie Lavigne of Moncton and Lucie LaVigne (Paul Albert) of Edmundston.  Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Merina Lavigne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon January 22, 2015 at 4 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) St. George St., Bathurst. 

Donation in memory of Bernal John may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favorite charity.
