It is with tremendous sorrow that we the family announce the passing of Tobi Lynn Alexander of Halifax, formerly of Bathurst, N.B., January 27th, in Halifax, N. S.
Tobi will be dearly missed by the love of her life, husband Master Seaman PJay Alexander.
She was the proud mother of Kali Dawn Martin and Ethan Alexander.
She was the youngest daughter of Lois (Cameron) Keoughan and the late James Keoughan of Bathurst, N.B.
A little sister to Kimberly Keoughan-Slowey (Daragh) of Ottawa, Ont.
She was predeceased by paternal grandparents: James & Margaret Keoughan of Chatham, N.B., and maternal grandparents: Frank & Vera Cameron of Loggieville, N.B.
Tobi leaves to mourn a large and loving family: In-laws Kim McLellan & Dorothy Alexander; brothers-in-law Nicky and Timmy Alexander.
She was predeceased by a third brother in law, Chad Alexander.
Tobi is also fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Her friendly and outgoing nature allowed Tobi to create many special and lifelong relationships with those who got to know her.
Tobi was a Bathurst High School class of ’95 graduate. In the last several years Tobi has dedicated her life to her family. Supporting and encouraging the pursuits of her husband, as well as her children; namely being the number one fan of Kali’s figure skating. Tobi was a talented seamstress; lovingly hand-crafting skating competition outfits for Kali, as well as others.
Tobi’s life will be celebrated Saturday, January 31st at 11 am at the Military Family Resource Center (MFRC), 6393 Homefire Cresent, Halifax, N.S.
Donations in honour of Tobi can be made to a trust benefiting her children or the IWK Health Center, a place near and dear to both PJay & Tobi, and condolences may be sent via email to ppa1980@live.ca.
