1928 - 2015
Lloyd Lester Campbell Marks of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, formerly of Cote Bleu, Bathurst, husband of the late Edmonde Germain, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 86.
Born in Miscou, he was the son of the late Lester and Effie (Cambell) Marks.
Originally from Miscou Island, he was a long time resident of Bathurst.
Lloyd worked on the D.E.W. Line in Alaska for several years, a diver for Diamond Diving in Seven Islands, then worked at Brunswick Mines as an Engineer from 1964 until his retirement. He was a member of the New Brunswick Scottish Cultural Society.
He is survived by three sisters: Margaret Rivers (Eugene) of B.C., Enid Vibert (Bert) of Miscou and Lillian Bernier (Nelson) of Ontario.
Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
He was predeceased by three sisters: Ella May, Shelia and Jean.
A funeral service will be held in the spring at St. Mark's United Church, Miscou Harbour.
Donations in memory of Lloyd may be made the the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Canadian Cancer society or a charity of the donor's choice.
