Bathurst - Art Gosnell, 60, passed away suddenly on Friday 13th,2015 at his home in West Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late John and Violet (Pyke) Gosnell.
He leaves to mourn his brothers: John Gosnell (Baz), Donald Valley (Maureen) , John Valley and Dale Valley all of Bathurst.
His sisters: Margaret Aubie (Paul) and Elizabeth Boudreau (Maurice) both of Bathurst and Joan Guignard (Yvon) of Dunlop.
Several nieces and nephews that he truly loved.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Kenneth.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co-workers at the Civic Centre, the Aquatic Centre and his favorite place, The Big Deal Market.
Art could often be seen walking to and from his places of employment. If a drive was offered, he always gratefully accepted.
He will fondly be remembered for his easy going nature, carefree attitude and the burning love he had for his family. He never missed a family gathering or any celebration that was family related.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Art may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
