Bathurst- Mr. James Duguay, husband of Linda (Elliott) Duguay of Riverside Drive in Bathurst, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 67.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lionel and Mary (Cassidy) Duguay.
James was a police officer for 32 years with the City of Bathurst.
Besides his wife Linda, he is survived by three children: Lionel (Lisa) Duguay of St. John's, N.L., Jacqueline (Lucien) Frenette and Anthony (Charlene Vienneau) both of Bathurst.
Two step-children: Elliott Aubé (Amanda) of Edmonton, Alta. and Todd Aubé (Nicolle Hébert) of Saint John N.B.; five grandchildren.
Also survived by two brothers: Johnny Duguay (Bonnie) of Bathurst and David Duguay of Ottawa, Ont.
Four sisters: Anne-Marie (Bill) McCarthy of Burlington, Ont., Helen Hachey (late Ralph), Jean Boylan (Bob) and Claire Arseneau (Alfred) all of Bathurst.
He also leaves to mourn, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 between 1 to 4 p.m., at Elhatton Funeral Home,(www.elhatton.com) 187 St. George St., Bathurst.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 4 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
