1942 – 2015

Bathurst – Mrs. Yvonne Drysdale, 72, wife of the late Alcide Drysdale, formerly of Ste Annes, passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Elizabeth (Landry) Cormier.

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa (Sean) Carey of London, Ont.

One son, Maurice Chevrier (Tammy) of Barrie, Ont.

Two step-sons: Wayne (Dorothy) Drysdale of Bathurst and Robert (Linda) Drysdale of Brantford, Ont. 

Four grandchildren: Shannon, Felecia, Maurice Jr and Anthony.

Four brothers: Isidore, Fernand, Henry and Omar all of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Maria Cormier, Rosanne Cormier and Anita Cormier all of Bathurst.

Besides her husband in 2006, she was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Angel Chevrier and two sisters: Jeanette Aubie and Theresa Gray.

There will be no formal funeral. 

A gathering will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George St., Bathurst, N.B., from 2 to 4 p.m. 

Donations in memory of Yvonne may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, Foyer Notre- Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation or a favourite charity.
