1941 - 2015

Bathurst – Mrs. Connie Doucet, 74, wife of the late Arnold "Ike" Doucet, formerly of Lavigne St., Bathurst, passed away accidently on Saturday May 16, 2015 on Route 11 near Miramichi.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Dorothy (Roy) Watson.

Connie enjoyed her nightly walks and could always be found anywhere music and the opportunity to dance presented itself. In spite of her illness, she was optimistic and always had a kind word and a smile to offer. She was loved and adored by her grandchildren and her words of wisdom will be missed. She will leave an irreplaceable void in the lives of her children.

She is survived by one son, Randy Doucet (Sandra) of Fort McMurray, Alta. 

Two daughters: Ann Doucet of Bathurst and Susan Ferreira (Carlos) of Toronto, Ont.

Five grandchildren:  Shawn, Taylor, Matthew, Andrew and Erik. 

Three great-grandchildren: Olivia, Colton and Ella.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Dale; one daughter in law, Diane (Garrett) Doucet and a brother Cyril Watson.    

There will be no visitation.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday morning July 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel, St. Goerge St., Bathurst.
