1945 – 2016

Bathurst – Kenneth "Kenny" Maltby, 70, of Whelton Dr., Bathurst, passed away Saturday March 26, 2016, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. 

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Jean (Harris) Maltby.

He was a member of Lodge St.John, No. 27, F&AM of the Masonic Order, Bathurst and was an employee of Sobey’s in Bathurst.

Besides his wife, Heather (MacKinnon) Maltby, he is survived by one daughter, Cathy Dunfield (Peter) of Victoria, B.C. and one son, Douglas of Bathurst.  Two grandchildren: Caitlin and Alexander.

Three brothers:  John (Sandra) and David both of Bathurst, Peter (Joan Duguay) of Beresford.  

Two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 2 p.m.
