1949 – 2016

Salmon Beach, NB – Garnet Dickson, 67, of Salmon Beach, passed away accidently on Thursday June 16, 2016 in Salmon Beach.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Jonathan and Alta (Caie) Dickson.

Garnet was a fisherman, farmer and woodsman all of his life.

Besides his wife, Lois (Ward) Smith Dickson, he is survived by three step-daughters:  Krista Calnan (Brad) and Kathie Smith both of Bathurst and Karla Smith (Hubert Nadeau) of Lac Masson, QC.

Four grandchildren, Kaithlyn, Karie, Liam and Anna.

One sister, Nancy Dickson of Hartland and one brother, Hazen Dickson of Janeville.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins.  A special aunt & uncle, Harvey and Hazel Caie.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon June 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton.  Donations in memory of Garnet may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
