1938 - 2016

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Lorna (Melanson) Romaine, wife of the late John Romaine, of London, Ontario which occurred on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, NB, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Opal (Simons) Melanson.

She is survived by one daughter Kelli-Anne Romaine of London, ON.

Two grandchildren: Corey Davis and Karly Davis.

Two brothers: Edmund "Boy" (Peggy) and William (Frances) both of Bathurst.

Eleven nieces and nephews:  Nancy, Michael, Sandra, Robbie, Randy, David, Janice, Derek, Rachael, Karen-Anne and Stephen.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Marjory Aubie, Joan Lavigne and a brother, Raymond.

There will be no visitation or funeral service held in Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Lorna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
