1926 - 2016

Raymond Arseneau of Riverside Drive, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the age of 90, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Thomas and Jane (Lavigne) Arseneau.

He worked at Consolidated Bathurst for 38 years until his retirement in 1987.  His favourite hobby was fixing bikes.

Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Southern) in 2011.

He is survived by one son, Donnie (Brenda) of Miramichi.

One daughter, Debbie Vienneau (Donald) of Bathurst.

Three grandchildren: Mandy McLean (Don), Andrea  Crosthwaite (Kelly) both of Moncton, Jason Vienneau  (M-Jay) of Bathurst.

Four great-grandchildren: Lauren, Brody, Mila all of Moncton and Mia of Bathurst.

One brother, Louis (Millie) of Dunlop.

Three sisters: Freda Harrison (Fred) of Alabama, USA, Patricia of Ottawa, Ontario, Evangeline Aubie (late Doran) of Bathurst.

Two brothers in laws: Lloyd Southern (Linda) of Bathurst and Robert Southern of Vancouver, BC.

One fur baby, Lucky.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Lawrence and Al.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11 2016 at 3 pm from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), 187 St. George St, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
