1937 - 2016

Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Laura (Lollie) Branch, formerly of King Ave, which occurred on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the ChaleurRegionalHospital, Bathurst at the age of 79.

Born in Canobie, she was the daughter of the late Stuart  and Audrey (Scott) Jagoe.

Laura spent most of her life running the family farm with her husband, the late Arthur Branch.  She also managed the Bathurst Agricultural Society #3 for 18 years.

She is survived by two sons:  Jeff Branch (Nedra) and Kirk Branch both of Bathurst.

One daughter, Tali Barker (Bill) of Hampton, NB.

One grandson, Jason Branch of Bathurst.

Three brothers:  Cleveland (Alice) Jagoe, Arthur (Eileen) Jagoe and Orin (Shirley) Jagoe all of Bathurst.

One sister, Verda (Russell) Logan of Dundee, CapeBreton.

She is also remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters:  Mina (Lindsay) Graham, Sadie Cormier and Edith Jagoe.

At her request, there will be no visitation.  A funeral service will be held at Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, at 2 pm on Monday, August 29, 2016.

Donations in memory of Laura may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Sick Children, Palliative Care Unit at the ChaleurRegionalHospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
