1956 – 2016

Big River – Michael Lavigne, 60, of Goyette St., Big River, passed away on Friday August 26, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Patricia (Roy) Lavigne and the late Robert Lavigne.

Besides his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by his wife Desneiges (Pitre) Lavigne.  Two sons:  James (Amanda) and Matthew (Melanie) both of North Tetagouche.  Three grandchildren:  Tanisha, Takayla and Avery.

Three brothers:  Edward of Bathurst, Leonard (Gloria),Thomas "Tommy" (Line) both of Elliot Lake, Ont.  Two sisters:  Stella Lavigne (Daren Doiron) of Sarnia, Ont. and Mona Ryan (Terry) of Saint John, NB.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Daniel.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday August 31, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  There will be no Funeral Service.  For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, donations in memory of Michael to the family would be appreciated.
