It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ronald (Ronnie) Brown, Mi’gmaq of Upper Salmon Creek which occurred at his residence on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 77. Born in Joggins, N.S., he was the son of the late Leroy and Elizabeth Georgina (Légère) Brown, Mi’gmaq.
He was predeceased by his first wife Laura (Comeau) Brown, Mi’gmaq in 2006. Ronnie was the owner of Brown’s Auto Salvage yard with his son Glenn.
He is survived by three sons: Warren Frederick Brown (Della), Mi’gmaq of Bathurst, Rodney Ronald Brown (Mary Lou), Mi’gmaq of Chipman, N.B., Glenn Brown (Patricia) of Chipman, N.B.
Four grandchildren: Warren R., Mi’gmaq, Roger, Mi’gmaq, Leanna, Mi’gmaq and Debra.
His second wife, Margaret (Agnew) Brown of Chipman, N. B.
My dear Father you will be sadly missed forever by so many people who love you so much, you will always be in our hearts.
In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, a private graveside service will take place at a later date.
