Bathurst - Alexis Hachey of Union St, Bathurst and formerly of Salmon Beach passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 90. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Simon and Elizabeth (Lanteigne) Hachey.
Alexis retired from the former Stone Consolidated Paper Mill as a papermaker.
He is survived by three sons: Jean-Pierre "Peter" (Debbie), Louis (Vera) both of Salmon Beach, Richard (Michelle) of Nova Scotia. One daughter, Lynn Noël (Dave) of Nigadoo.
Six grandchildren: Alex, Robbie, Jennifer, Erica, Erin and Jamie Lynn.
The mother of his children, Berthe Hachey of Bathurst.
A brother Albert Hachey of Montreal, QC.
Son-in-law, Ken Arbeau of Moncton. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Arbeau, two brothers, Armand and Benoit and two sisters Jeannine and Gertrude.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, April 7, 2018 from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel.
