Mrs. Macrena Daigle, 83, of South Tetagouche, passed away on Tuesday,April 26, 2005, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Minnie(Pitre) Lagacé. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Stanley in 1977. She is survived by two sons: Albany Daigle (Margaret Cyr) of St. Anne, Glou. Co., NB, & Donald Daigle (Anita) of Bathurst. Four daughters: Delcina Daigle (Romeo Cormier) of South Tetagouche, Doris Imhoff (Cornelius) of Port Hope, ON, Yvonne Henry (Oswald Jr.) of Pickering, ON, & Evelyn Legacy (Ronald) of St. Anne, Glou. Co., NB. Two brothers: Richard Lagacé (Adeline) of Bathurst, & Alex Lagacé (Jeannine) of Nigadoo. Two sisters: Irene Dobbins and Evelyn Daigle, both of Bathurst. 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Johnny. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday afternoon (April 29, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
