Bathurst - Mr. Joseph A. Pitre, husband of Margaret (Juliano) Pitre, of Maria Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 75.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Philias and Mary (DiClementi) Pitre.

Besides his wife Margaret, he is survived by his two sons: Ronald (Angie) of St. Albert, AB and Brian of Halifax, NS.

Three grandchildren:  Hunter, Tyler and Justin.

Three brothers:  Kenneth, Gerald and Jean Claude.

Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was predeceased by a sister Demerise Pitre.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday, May 3, 2018 from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), St. George St, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Joseph may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of the donor's choice.
