Laine "Jimmie" Scott Ward, beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" (Coates) Ward, passed away peacefully in Lindsay, Ontario on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the age of 86.
Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Wendell Ward and Ida May (Payne) Ward.
He is survived by a brother Dan (Valda) Ward of Lindsay, ON and a sister Carrie Hilts of Belleville, ON. A step-son Mathew Walter Garry Coates of Scarborough, ON and a step-daughter Margaret Ann Siig of Toronto, ON.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Sidney, Ross, Clayton, Hugh, Willard and Steve; sisters Beulah Pitre, Frances Luce, Eva Coates and Leona Wheaton.
The family will receive family and friends after 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17th at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.
