It is with great sadness, that we the family, announce the sudden passing of Gary Pitre, of Ulric Dr, Bathurst, which occurred Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 49.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Marie Rose (Legacy) Pitre and the late Clinton Pitre.

He was the owner/operator of Bullseye Construction.

Besides his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by his wife, Tammy (Burgess) Pitre and three children: Kevin, Kendall and Kaylie all of Bathurst.

One brother, Bill (Donna) of Moncton and one sister, Tracy Pitre (Ivan) of Bathurst.

Maternal grandmother, Lauza (Comeau) Lagacy of Bathurst and his paternal-grandmother, Léona (Noël) Pitre of Bathurst.

Eight nieces and nephews:  Jenna, Josh, Makayla, Nathan, Meghan, Ryan, Evan and Nate.

His mother-in-law, Conny Frenette Burgess of Bathurst and his sister-in-law, Vicki Grandy of Chatham, ON.  Many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Gary was an animal lover, great friend, enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping and the outdoors.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of funeral.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 4 p.m.  

Donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the SPCA or a charity of the donors choice.
