It is with great sadness the family of Dorina Valentine of Bathurst, announces her passing on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, with family at her side after a brief illness. Dorina was 81 years old.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marcella (Lavigne) Martel.

She worked as a Registered Nurse in Bathurst for most of her life.

She is survived by her three children: Gloria Tocher (Mark) of Virginia Beach, USA, Peter Valentine (Trudy) of Halifax and Mark Valentine of North Bay, ON. 

Three grandchildren: Justin Tocher, Hannah Valentine and Emma Valentine.  One great-granddaughter, Georgia.

Six siblings:  Cecile Allain (late Roger), Jeanne Gallant (Frederic) both of Bathurst, Marguerite Pouliot (Renald) of Quebec, QC, Paul-Emilie Martel (Marie) of Bathurst, Marcella Vienneau (Jean-Yves) of Petit-Rocher and Roger Martel of Bathurst.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Raymond, Hermenegilde, Leonard and a sister, Yvette Doucet.
