It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Cormier, 69, of Moncton, formerly of Bathurst.
David worked in purchasing for the City of Bathurst and the City of Moncton. He also had a career in Real Estate for several years. His passions were curling and fishing but most of all he will be remembered for his warm heart and wonderful sense of humour.
David was predeceased by his parents Edward and Grace (MacKay) Cormier as well as his first wife, Alice Gallagher. He will be dearly remembered and sadly missed by his son Christopher Cormier; his loving wife Tracy Quinn-DesRoches; step-son Robert and step-daughter Tanya; as well as grandsons Diego and Chaske. He also leaves his three sisters: Evelyn Doucet (Bob), Peggy Roy (late Judson), Arline Hachey (late Giles); his brother Jim Cormier (Linda); along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (506-869-2007). A funeral service will take place at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, 187 St. George St., Bathurst, NB (506-546-2716) on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00am. The interment will take place in Holy Family Cemetery, Bathurst.
